Versace Heats Spring Up!!

Versace has done it again!  I like the bright colors and that they are color blocking the items for Spring 2012.  I am definitely feeling the photo below with the pick v-neck with yellow trunks and Gladiator sandals!  This is just all kinds of sexiness!  

Also make sure to check out H&M because the Versace and H&M are teaming up for a 2012 collection!  Rumor has it that the dress that Donatella's is rocking, above, will be part of it. <gasps>

Adele - Someone Like You

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Adele's new song, "Someone Like You."  I definitely have to say that I abuse the repeat button on YouTube because I'm addicted.  "Someone Like You" is from her newest album, titled 21, which was named after the age in which she wrote the music.

Honestly, I feel like the song was written just for me because I'm currently going through same thing, but for me I won't settle for someone like Him, because the only person that I want is Him and he knows it.  Enjoy!!!

Emma Watson Wows in De la Renta

  

I know that this is a little outdated and not current, but I have been a little behind with my emails.  I came across an email that my best friend, Jason, sent to me in regards to Emma Watson via The Huffington Post.  Now I'll be the first to admit that I have seen all of the Harry Potter films and every time that I have, Emma has always gotten more and more beautiful.

Here she is, at the London premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows : Part 2, wearing Oscar de la Renta's embroidered bodice with sand nylon tulle skirt, which is too die for! What do you guys think?

Conde Elevator

So it seems that a mystery person who works in the Conde Building, same building that houses Vogue, has been tweeting the conversations overheard in the elevator!  @condeelevator has been tweeting things like "Summer Intern: My driver had SUCH a bad attitude. I was like, "don't complain to me, I didn't eat lunch either! You think I eat clothes?" and "Girl #1: She's making run a million errands this afternoon. Girl #2 Oooh, will you bring me an iced coffee on your way back?" This is def someone that needs to be followed!

Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis

I love watching Bravo's show, Flipping Out with Jeff Lewis.  I definitely love his work and his aesthetic is definitely up my alley; amazing, modern, straight lines.  Where do I sign up?!  I love watching his show a lot and he actually reminds me of myself.  If you want to have a little Jeff Lewis in your home, just check out his website and you can shop to your hearts desires.

Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty

I honestly feel like all of the planets have aligned in my favor!  I have been having a bad week lately and this has definitely cheered it right up.  The Metropolitan Museum of Art has a brand new exhibit open featuring my idol, the late Alexander McQueen.  Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty displays his amazing designs and his empowerment of women.  Looks like I'm booking a flight this weekend to see this for myself!

I loved this collection, especially the feather coat with embroidered tulle.

Jack Perno Photograhy

 I recently discovered photographer Jack Perno via Factio Magazine and I was instantly drawn to his photos!  Photography used to be one of my hobbies when I was younger but, sadly, don't have much time for it nowadays.  Jack shoots many fashion spreads but also amazing black and white, which I have a soft spot for in the hole where my heart should be.  What do you guys think?  I want your feedback!

Christian Siriano!!!

I have always loved Christian Siriano from the very first time that I saw him on the Project Runway!  What can I say, he had me at, "Hot tranny mess!"  He never disappoints me when he comes out at with his collections and that includes his Autumn/Winter collection!  The collection is so pretty that I will let the photos speak for themselves.  I also had the honor of meeting him and I have to admit that he is very nice, funny, amazing, & really pretty in person!

One Word...Balmain!

One of my favorite brands in the whole wide world is Balmain because of their prints, silhouettes, and rock-chic aesthetic.  Oliver Rousteing, the new designer at the fashion house is working his magic and I'm dying with joy over the Resort 2011 line!!!  I believe that every girl should have at least one Balmain garment in their wardrobe; be it a skirt, top or shoes.

Alexander McQueen Pre Spring/Summer 2012

I am loving the new pre-spring/summer 2012 line for Alexander McQueen! The intricate details of "Look 22," above, looks amazing and I feel that Sarah Burton is doing a great job with the McQueen brand.  I can't wait to see more from what I am seeing!

I love the classic and clean look of the white top with the the straight legged trouser.  Through out the collection you can see and flow and unity from all pieces and I love the fact that most pieces are coupled with oversized belts.
